The formula itself is creamy and gives a very mild cooling sensation and although the directions advise to leave the product on for approximately ten minutes, I prefer to leave it on 20-25 minutes because it IS so gentle.

It does not have a great scent to it, but nothing too bothersome. It rinses off very easily and my skin looks and feels very clean, refreshed and soft after use. I am hoping with continued use it will help to diminish dark spots I have from old acne scars.
